Install TagSpaces in Ubuntu (Evernote Alternative)

This post shows how to install TagSpaces in Ubuntu. TagSpaces an Evernote Alternative which is available for Linux, Windows and Mac OS.

Install TagSpaces

The installation is very simple. You can download the stable version from TagSpaces Official Website and for beta releases visit the releases page on GitHub.

wget https://www.tagspaces.org/downloads/tagspaces-amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i tagspaces-amd64.deb

If you encountered any errors while installation please run the following command, it will install the dependencies.

sudo apt-get install -f

Uninstall TagSpaces (Optional):

You can remove TagSpaces using the following commands:

sudo apt-get remove --purge tagspaces
sudo apt autoremove

That’s it!
