Install REMI Repository on CentOS / RHEL

This post will help you to install REMI Repository on CentOS / RHEL. Please make sure that you have installed EPEL repo before the installation of REMI Repository. The installation of REMI repo on different CentOS and RHEL versions are provided below:

NB: PLEASE INSTALL EPEL REPO FIRST

CentOS 7 / RHEL 7

 
cd /usr/local/src
wget https://rpms.remirepo.net/enterprise/remi-release-7.rpm
rpm -Uvh remi-release-7.rpm

CentOS 6 / RHEL 6

 
cd /usr/local/src
wget https://rpms.remirepo.net/enterprise/remi-release-6.rpm
rpm -Uvh remi-release-6.rpm

CentOS 5 / RHEL 5

 
cd /usr/local/src
wget https://rpms.remirepo.net/enterprise/remi-release-5.rpm
rpm -Uvh remi-release-5.rpm

Once the installation has completed, you can check the repository list using the following command.

 
yum repolist
