How to change cPanel password from command line

This post will help you to change cPanel password from command line. You just need to run the following cPanel script to achieve this.

 
/scripts/chpass <cPanel_Username> <New_Password>

Then run the following script to synchronize the new password with the default FTP user.

 
/scripts/ftpupdate
